About

Sam Friedrich has 20+ years experience as a freelance photographer based in London, England. As well as regular editorial work for national newspapers and magazines, varied commissions are undertaken for corporate & PR clients, charities, educational trusts as well as private commissions. Previously, Sam spent 6 years on the Picture Desk at News International. Starting as a part time he archivist, after 4 years he was Acting Group Picture Editor at The Times Educational Supplements (Times Ed', Times Higher Ed' & Times Literary Supplement). He left to take pictures, not commission and edit them.
When he's not taking pictures, he spends his time riding waves and jumping from perfectly serviceable aircraft. Usually with a camera. Always with a parachute.
